( ara doesn't split from the el search party often- especially as things get worse amongst them. but sometimes- sometimes the spirits she travels with ask something of her, and she does not deny them when they help her so much. so here she is in the woods, quietly and carefully trying to set up a tent and tarp as it begins to rain, three holy lights circling her gently.

eun notices the stranger first, but eventually ara glances up and smiles softly. )

Terrible weather for a walk, isn't it? I'm almost done setting up, if you need shelter for the rain.

[Vash, as ever, is on the move. Where he came from most recently is a mystery, and if asked he probably wouldn't say, just to cover his tracks. It's safer that way. If he happens to meet somebody who doesn't know who the Humanoid Typhoon is, he'll just laugh and call himself a "drifter", nothing more. He's nothing special. Just a guy, don't worry about it.

As he meets a forest- a far cry from the usual landscape he traverses- he's a little surprised to see someone this far out right now. It's raining at this point, yet Vash seems to be paying it little mind, even as he's getting wet. The hood of his jacket pulled up over his head seems to be doing a decent enough job of keeping him from getting completely soaked to the bone, at any rate.

He smiles faintly, rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand not holding up the duffel bag slung over his shoulder.]

Ah, I wouldn't want to impose, but...do you need some help?

[Vash grunts as he saunters over to her setup, slinging his bag from his shoulder so he can drop it somewhere out of the way on the ground. From there it's easier for him to get both of his arms free to be working with, both his good arm and his prosthetic.]

( at which point, she's starting a fire. it's freezing and not even the phoenix's aura is shedding the chill as it circles around her. the yellow mote drifts to vash for a moment, curious and bright, before returning to ara. )

[The offer is much appreciated, even though Vash otherwise would have just left his stuff to potentially get rained on if it meant not inconveniencing his new companion. He laughs and moves back over to pick it up, pausing curiously as he goes.]
