subtract: the way back in (Y-0322)

Add is fiddling with the controls, looking for something that might be an on switch or a light or anything that might help them. He manages to get some more tiny lights on and a few panels start softly beeping, but that's about it so far. Hopefully none of those switches will screw them over later somehow.

"Calm down, you're probably worried over nothing." Probably. God he hopes that sounds convincing. "It's a defensive unit, so it's not going to start attacking people for no reason. This should still be unfamiliar territory, so it'll probably just wander around looking for it's assigned location. Since that place is in another dimension, we have plenty of time to regain control."

... assuming, of course, that no one panics and tries to attack it. Or that all the existing battle-damage he didn't get a chance to repair doesn't cause it to crash. Or explode. Or that it doesn't have the equipment installed to attempt dimension travel, which would most definitely kill both of them instantly...

The fact that Add's being so quiet right now should probably be tipping Jakob off, but he's just going to keep pretending everything's fine anyway and hope that they both don't die in a really stupid way. He clears his throat loudly, twisting a few more dials at random.

"Anyway... if you're going to be in here, you might as well make yourself useful. Go check the other side for compartments. Maybe there's a manual." Even giant dragon mechas need a glovebox, right?
